Meet the “faces” of our next “Small Business Story,” Faith & Life Bookstore!
Faith & Life Bookstore is located at 606 N Main in Newton. Bethany Martin, the store manager, shared a little of her heart behind their mission.
Why did you decide to start your business?
“The business was started many years ago by the Mennonite Church. We’re still here today because we believe that people need a peaceful place where they can come to find books and gifts to encourage them in their faith walk.”
What makes your business unique?
“We are currently one of only independent Christian Bookstores in the state of Kansas–there are not very many stores you can walk into and put your hands on a variety of Bibles (and books) and find out what’s best for you. We have such a variety of merchandise that have been chosen to encourage, uplift and bring a smile when needed.”
