New Teacher Breakfast
Our New Teacher Breakfast is a very special annual event where we welcome new teachers and staff to USD #373 on behalf of the Chamber! New Teachers and staff receive a delicious meal, a chance to connect with Chamber members, and some fun, local goodie bags as a gift of welcome. The breakfast takes place in the beginning of August.
The 2026 New Teacher Breakfast is scheduled for August 4th from 7:30-9:00 AM at the Meridian Center! There are many ways for our Chamber members to get involved with this event to help welcome new teachers and staff on behalf of our business community:
- Donate items for new teacher goodie bags! We pack tote bags full of goodies for our new teachers, including snacks, school supplies, tumblers, coupons, etc., which can give them some exposure to the businesses we have here locally. If you would like to make a donation to the bags, let us know! Goodie bag items can be dropped off at the Chamber office (500 N Main, Suite 101) by July 30th.
- Volunteer for the event! Our business volunteers play a crucial part in our New Teacher breakfast! Business volunteers are paired with new teacher or staff member to welcome them and introduce them during the program. Priority will be given to volunteers from sponsor businesses. If your business is not a sponsor but you would still like to volunteer, let us know you would like to be added to the alternate list! The deadline to RSVP as a volunteer is July 22nd.
- Sponsor the event! You can sponsor this event at the following levels:
- Gold-Star Sponsor – $500:
