Cynthia Sutcliffe promoted to Executive Director of Caring Hands Humane Society

We are proud to announce the promotion of Cynthia Sutcliffe to Executive Director of Caring Hands Humane Society. Cynthia has worked at CHHS for over 5 years. She began her career as an Adoption Counselor in 2016 and was promoted to the role of Director of Marketing & Development in 2018. As Marketing Director, she ran many successful fundraising campaigns and was instrumental in shelter improvements. During her time at CHHS, she has coordinated multiple programs to better our community. One of her proudest accomplishments is C.A.M.P. (Community cat Alteration Management Program) which works to trap, neuter, and release feral cats in Harvey County. C.A.M.P. is responsible for over 528 feline spay/neuter surgeries between 2015-2021. Since 2020, she expanded the shelter’s rescue program by building invaluable relationships with partner organizations and succeeded in transferring 434 animals with unique needs to specialized rescues. In return, Cynthia helped surrounding communities in greater need by assisting 457 animals at risk for euthanasia in just two years.

Cynthia’s goals for the shelter involve continuing to upgrade the housing for the animals and continue to create assistance for neighboring communities while maintaining the quality of care for the animals in Harvey County that Caring Hands is known for.

Please join us in congratulating Cynthia on her promotion! We know she will rise above and beyond the expectations of her new role.
