One of the most notable aspects of Newton is it’s location within the Greater Wichita Area. Our community is positioned just 25 minutes from the city of Wichita, and lies at the intersection of several major highways, including I-135 and Highway 50.
Great Amenities
Newton is known to offer great amenities for our community members.
- The municipal pool was majorly renovated and reopened in August 2021, now offering a lazy river, two large water slides, a splash pad, and a zero-entry pool almost separate from the standard pool to offer a great experience for kids both young and old. - Sand Creek Station Golf Course is known for offering a private experience at a public course! Based on the quality of the course, friendliness of the staff, and their “no hassle” rates, Sand Creek Station has ranked number one in the United States in overall customer loyalty for twelve consecutive years in a row: 2008-2019. - Newton Public Library is another wonderful amenity here in our community. Conveniently located in the central business district, the library is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 am – 6 pm, and Monday and Thursday from 9 am – 7 pm. Aside from books, they offer an abundance of resources and children’s programs, as well as public access to internet, Wi-Fi, and borrow Hotspots. You can also access machines used for printing, faxing, scanning, and copying.
